Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer
This page is a working draft and will change before Lawki’s public release.
Lawki should be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or larger text, or who prefer less motion. This statement covers this website, lawki.app.
Our target
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. [CONFIRM: whether the website meets WCAG 2.2 AA, from a full review].
What we do
- Every build checks the colour contrast of text and controls, in light and dark mode.
- Every page has one main heading, a link to skip to the content, and landmarks for the header, the main content and the footer.
- The pages are built to work with a keyboard, with the focused element outlined.
- Messages that appear on a page, such as a problem with a case link, are announced to screen readers.
- Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- The pages are built so text can be enlarged and narrow screens need no sideways scrolling.
Known limits
